Sakn is an early-stage digital rental marketplace operated in Egypt under the Sakn brand.

Property Listings and Public Content

Property owners may provide listing titles, descriptions, photos, videos, prices, amenities, availability, property rules, furnishing details, and location information.

Information included in a published listing may be visible to other users and may appear on Sakn websites, public property pages, shared listing links, and search engines.

Sakn may review, organize, format, moderate, limit, suspend, or remove listing content to maintain quality, prevent fraud, enforce platform rules, and protect users.

Users must have the necessary rights and permissions to publish any photos, videos, descriptions, or other content submitted to Sakn.

Location Data

If you grant location permission, Sakn may use your device location to support property discovery, nearby search, map features, or property-location selection.

Property owners may provide an exact property location for listing management. Sakn may show renters only an approximate location or the level of detail permitted by the product experience.

Location permission is optional unless it is technically necessary for a feature you choose to use.

You can enable, restrict, or remove location permission through your device settings.

Messages, Inquiries, Reports, and Support

When messaging, inquiries, reporting, or support features are available, Sakn may process messages, attachments, reports, support requests, and related delivery or activity records.

We use this information to provide communication features, respond to support requests, investigate misconduct, review disputes, prevent fraud, and improve marketplace safety.

Support, report, and communication records may be retained where reasonably necessary for safety, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.

Users should not share passwords, verification codes, payment credentials, national identification numbers, medical information, or other unnecessary sensitive data through messages or listings.

Device, Usage, Cookies, and Analytics Data

AI-generated content may contain errors and should be reviewed before it is published or relied upon.

Do not submit passwords, payment credentials, national identification numbers, confidential documents, or unnecessary sensitive personal data to AI-powered features.

Sakn may contain links to independent websites or third-party services. Their handling of personal data is governed by their own privacy policies.

Sakn is not responsible for the privacy practices of independent third-party websites or services that it does not control.

Data Security and Personal-Data Incidents

Sakn uses reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data from unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, disclosure, destruction, or loss.

Access to operational systems and personal data is limited according to service requirements and legitimate operational needs.

No application, database, device, or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing lawfully completed before the withdrawal.
