Is Sakn free to use, and are there any hidden fees?

Yes. Browsing, searching, saving homes, publishing a property, and messaging inside the app are free. Sakn does not process rent payments, charge renters or owners a commission, or add hidden fees.

Does Sakn act as a real-estate broker?

No. Sakn is a platform that puts you in touch with the other side. We do not view properties on your behalf, sign contracts, hold deposits, or transfer money. Any rental agreement is made directly between the renter and the owner.

Can I browse properties without creating an account?

Yes. You can explore published properties and use search, filters, and the map as a guest. You will be asked to sign in when you use account-based features such as saving a home, messaging an owner, or opening your notifications.

How do I change the app language?

Open Profile and choose Language, or go to Profile then Account Settings and choose Language. Sakn supports Arabic and English, and the whole app switches direction and text immediately — you do not need to restart it.

Are all properties verified?

Published listings are reviewed before they appear on Sakn for required photos, pricing, and basic property details. This review does not independently verify ownership or guarantee every statement, so confirm the property and agreement directly before paying or signing.

How do I search for a property?

From the home screen, open search and type what you are looking for — an area, a compound, or a listing title. Results load as you scroll, and you can narrow them further with filters at any time.

How do I use filters?

Tap the filter button on search or on the map. You can set a rent range and an area range, and filter by property type, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, furnishing, and amenities. Clearing the filters brings back all results.

Can I browse properties on a map?

Yes. Open Browse on Map from the home screen to see published properties in their locations. Move or zoom the map to load the homes in that area, and tap any marker to open the listing.

What will I find in the property details?

A listing shows the photo gallery and any video, the rent and terms such as the security deposit, the area, rooms and bathrooms, furnishing and condition, the amenities, the location on a map, and the owner's profile.

How do I contact a property owner?

Open the property and start a chat. The conversation happens inside Sakn, so you do not need to share a phone number to ask your first questions. You need to be signed in to send messages.

How do I request a viewing?

Tap Request viewing on the property page and the owner receives your request. Sakn does not schedule or attend viewings — you and the owner agree on the time and place together in the chat.

Can I save a property to come back to it?

Yes. Tap the heart on any listing and it is kept in the Saved tab. Saved homes are tied to your account, so they follow you to any device you sign in on. Signing in is required to save.

How do I publish a property?

Sign in with a property owner account and start List Your Property. The form is five steps: property identity, details, location, amenities, then photos and video. Your progress is kept as a draft, so you can leave and finish later.

What information do I need to list a property?

A clear title and description, the property type and purpose, the area, rooms and bathrooms, furnishing and condition, the rent and terms such as the security deposit, the location on the map, the amenities, and photos. The more accurate the listing, the fewer repeated questions you get.

How many photos should I upload?

At least three photos are required to publish, and you can add up to twenty. Choose one as the cover photo. A short video tour is optional; large files are compressed on your device before upload.

Why is my property not visible yet?

A new listing is reviewed before it appears publicly, so it stays hidden from search, the map, and property pages until it is approved and active. You can always see it in your own Properties tab with its current status.

Can I edit, pause, or delete a listing?

Yes. Open your Properties tab and use the actions on any listing to edit it, pause it while the home is unavailable, reactivate it later, or delete it. A paused listing stops appearing in search results.

How do renters reach me?

Renters start a chat or send a viewing request from your listing. Both arrive in your Messages tab and in your notifications, so you can reply without publishing your phone number.

Can I publish more than one property?

Yes. There is no limit on the number of listings on your account, and each one is managed separately from the Properties tab.

How do I create an account or sign in?

You can sign up with your email and a password, or continue with Google. When you sign up with email we send a 6-digit code to confirm it. You also choose whether you are looking for a home or listing one.

I forgot my password. What do I do?

Choose Forgot password on the login screen, enter your email, and we send you a verification code to set a new password. If you are already signed in, you can change your password from Profile then Account Settings.

How do notifications work?

New messages and updates about your properties appear in the Notifications screen, and Sakn can also send them to your device once you allow notification permission. You can review that permission from your device settings at any time.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Profile then Account Settings and choose to delete your account. We ask for an optional reason, then confirm before deleting. Deletion cannot be undone, and any listings on the account stop being shown.

How do I contact support?

Open Profile then Help & Support and choose Support. You can also reach us through the official channels listed on the About Sakn screen. Tell us what happened and, if it is about a listing, include the property title.

The app is not working correctly. What should I try?

Check your internet connection and try the screen again — most screens have a Try again action. If the problem stays, make sure you are on the latest version of Sakn, then contact support and describe the screen and what you were doing.
